Notes: Weekly show featuring Roots Reggae, Dub, Lovers Rock, Dancehall and Rocksteady from UK artists. In 2004, a UK born producer called Special Mix, now living in Canada had just produced a Reggae song. He was looking for radio DJs around the world to help promote his new song. He came across a name that reminded him of home. That name was Brixton Hitman. Special Mix, used to live 20 minutes from Brixton Station in London, England so he called up this radio DJ. They started talking and both realised that even though they where both born in England and now living in foreign countries, they both yearned for that party vibes playing UK Lovers Rock and Dancehall from back home. They also realised that they where not alone. Many other Brits who also lived abroad missed the UK music scene. ​
